National Schools

From the beginning, the goals of the Providence Educational Foundation (and the original Alliance for Christian Education) included identifying Christian schools nationwide with the same missions and sharing resources such as curriculum, programmatic innovations, information on what works and what does not work, faculty exchanges, student exchanges, and joint programs. In general, the intent is to encourage schools that too frequently feel quite alone in their missions, to learn from succesful schools, and to facilitate an increase in the quality and quantity of Christian education for all.

While Providence is the pilot school for the PEF, and the majority of our funds are directed to launching and supporting that school, we also have supported other Christian schools in California. As Providence becomes fully established, more resources will be dispersed to like-minded educational institutions nationally and internationally.

Other schools benefitting from the Providence Educational Foundation:

The school’s mission is to be the place “where character meets wisdom.” Their goal is to inspire a deep love of learning about the world and the Creator. ELMO serves  160 children from preschool through elementary and up to sixth grade.
